Meeting in December-board meeting?

I can't remember what it's called (senior moment), but I was wondering about this meeting that happens in December before the new maintenance fees are announced.

I think I'll be in WDW at the time. How do I get invited? Is it worth attending?

It's the annual Condo Association Meeting. Once the date/time and location are set, there will be a sign up link on the member website.

And you actually get beforehand the new dues levels to be voted on at the meeting (which are always approved; although actual dues billed late Dec may end up being a little different, depending on whether there was an overpayment of the existing year's property taxes, which can result in a deduction for the new dues, or underpayment, which can result in an increase). Whether it is "worth" attending is generally a matter of personal preference. The members do not get any votes at the meeting and do not get to express their views on the proposals at the meeting.

Oh boy! Sounds like a deal. Really, I've never been down there at this time of year. Just curious. I guess it depends on where it's located.

I wonder if the new head of DVD/DVC SVP Terri Schultz is going to throw a party like Claire Bilby did.

For the last several years they've been held at the Contemporary Resort.

They had a reception after the meeting in another space in the convention center last year. They had lemonade, tea, water, cookies and you got to mingle with Ken and his team.

Bilby had the Dapper Dans and other entertainment when she had the meeting.
