Meeting/Gathering Spots at Swan and Dolphin?

Later this month, I'll be attending a conference at the Dolphin and Swan. Many others from across the country will also be attending. While I've met these others online, I have not yet met them in person. We've been trying to set up a meet-up time and place, but I'm not familiar with the Dolphin or Swan.

Does anyone know of anyplace that would be a good gatering spot to set up a meeting with these other conference-goers?

There are seating areas in the Rotunda & hallways of the Dolphin & areas in the Hallways of the Swan. If folks are staying at both resorts, a nice central meeting area is the Cabana Bar & Grill by the Lap pool which is behind the Dolphin. They have all kinds of drinks & casual food, which would make for a great meeting spot, IMHO. That would be my preference.

Just wondering if you are speaking of the autodesk conference. My dh is going and I am tagging along with our 3 teen ds, glad we bought aps in april. My poor dh has to be in classes all day while I get to have fun, fun, fun. How big is the group you are meeting? The swan lobby is small and intimate with couches etc. A little OT, but did you get your definete room assignment yet? My dh was told they will e mail it to his office.

That's the one. I think I replied to you a few months back on another post. As far as I can tell, there are about eight of us.
No, no confirmation yet. I think I was told we'd get it about 2 weeks prior to the conference - so maybe next week.
DH wanted to come with me, but since DS15 has school and I was going to be in classes all day and mentally overwhelmed afterward, I was able to talk him out of coming with me. I probably wont be any fun. I think it's probably going to be information-overload for me that week.
