Hi

We're travelling in July (as a celebration for finishing A levels and GCSE's for my 2 DD's) and were wondering about using the meet and greet service at Gatwick. We've always parked and got a bus to and from the terminal before - just wondering whether anyone had used this service, who they used and whether they thought it was worth the extra cash!

Many thanks!

We've used meet and greet services for the past couple of trips now. Previously a company named 'Executive Parking' but most recently 'Maple Manor' who were excellent - will certainly use them again in the future.

The best bit was they were even cheaper than the likes of BCP and APH's standard services at £70 for 14 days. Web site is at http://www.gatwickparking.net

Thanks for the website, Paul. I think we might use them for our trip this year. They don't seem to have prices on their website, so I have e-mailed them for a quote. I see that undercover parking is available for 50p/day extra so DH will be happy

One question, when they drive the car to the airport for your return, do they drive it right up to outside the arrivals building? (the taxi/loading area?). Thanks!

Hi Frances. I missed the pricing the first time as well :) - the title on the main page says 'Gatwick parking for £5 per day' (or £5.50 for undercover I guess).

The swap over point is down on the arrivals level, just along by the rental car buildings (turn right when you come out of the terminal). We gave them a phone call when we got through baggage reclaim and had to wait for about 2-3 mins after we reached the meeting point.

Oh, they don't accept credit cards for payment, and ask for cheque or cash on your return (we used a cheque). They did take a credit card number however on booking just to guarantee the arrangement.

Many thanks for the info Paul - I hadn't come across this company in my web searches - they seem to be much cheaper than any others I've seen so will definately give them a try.
