Medium,,, darn missed 1st half

on sundays medium , the 1st hour, where Alison is working for the guy whose son is the killer,,,,,, my dvr did not tape the 1st half hour.
can someone fill me in on that! I still have yet to watch what I taped, but would like to know what went on in that 1st part.

I don’t totally remember what happened in the first hour as opposed to what happened in the second hour (or what may have happened the week before), but I’ll give it a shot…

Alison starts the new job and they send a limo for her, buy her a bunch of clothes and give her a nice office, so she’s really impressed. The big boss (can’t remember his name) calls her in and asks her to look over some dossiers of some of their employees and give him her impressions. She told him she only got a bad feeling about one of them (the name was blacked out) and it turns out to be Justin (the son). Alison talks to her boss (Michael J. Fox’s wife!) about it and she tells Alison that she’s right about the son having problems and they are aware of it.

Also, after she started the new job she told the DA’s office about a dream she had which enabled them to solve the crime that she had been working on the week before. So when the big boss finds out that the case was solved he calls her in and asks her if she told the DAs office about a dream which helped them solve the case. She admits that she did and the boss tells her she can’t do that because she is under contract and the company now owns her dreams, and he threatens to sue her for everything she has if she ever tells anyone else about a dream again. So when her dreams tell her that the bosses’ son is the murderer, she’s afraid to tell the DAs office. She goes to her boss about it and she reiterates that Alison will be in big trouble with the company if she tells anyone. So she’s really torn about what to do. The boss says don’t worry about it, the father is handling it and there won’t be any more murders. Bottom line is that they only hired her so that if she dreamt about Justin being the murderer she wouldn’t be able to tell anyone about it.

Also, I believe the episode began with Alison having a dream that she and her family were very rich and lived in a big, beautiful home. There was a room in the house that her family said no one was allowed to go into, but when she insisted upon going into the room she saw a murder scene (it was one of Justin’s murders).

I don’t remember when the Ariel part came in, but Ariel was having trouble at school because she was distracted by seeing visions of a girl from her school who had recently died. Ariel’s friend offered her some prescription pills she had. Ariel took the pills and they did help her concentrate, and she kept asking the girl for more. Alison and her husband found out about the pills and talked to Ariel about it. Alison was very understanding about it and wished she could have pills like that to help her with her visions in high school. So she offers to take Ariel to a doctor to get her own prescription. But then Ariel starts having visions about her substitute teacher being murdered and she’s afraid to take the pills because they will block her visions and maybe she’s supposed to be seeing these things so she can prevent this murder. It turns out that the teacher was going to be murdered by Justin. Since Ariel had the vision instead of Alison, she was able to go to the police and that's how they caught Justin and saved the teacher.
