My DD absolutely LOVES horses and anything to do with horses, so I thought it might be fun to have dinner at Medieval times. However, she's only 5....so I'm having a hard time swallowing the dinner ticket prices.

Do you think it's worth the price of admission?

Look around for coupons, there are some on the pizza/pasta thread right now for 30% off :) I took my boys (7 and 5 at the time) to the pirates dinner. It was one of the highlights of the trip. They sat enthralled through the whole show. Just ask for boxes for what she doesn't eat, my boys forgot to eat. If she's really into horses, I'd say go for it!

Can't tell you if it's worth it--that's really up to you and your situation.

I'm sure your DD would love it: horses running around, eating with your hands, lot's of excited people around... She's probably old enough to remember it for a long time also.

We've been there 3 times in the past 18 years if that helps. If you go, I suggest not sitting in the row closest to the arena edge. Less chance of dust, dirt and stray bits of jousting sticks to fly into you and your food. If you get to choose, one or two rows back should be close enough.

Easy to get to from DL via taxi or personal car also...

I absolutely think it is worth the price. Whenever we go to the one in Dallas there are always kids there and our kids went when my youngest was 6 and she lived it. I would also suggest trying to sit on the front row that way she can see it better and you have a little interaction with the actors.

Price wise get on their mailing list and they will send out coupons often (normally buy 1 get 1 free or 30% off). Also if your going around a time of someone's birthday sign up for the birthday list and that person will get In free with the purchase of an admission.

We have been several times, and always loved it. If she loves horses, she will love these, they are absolutely beautiful. One tip I would offer is this: some kids like eating with their fingers, some don't. Neither of my girls particularly enjoy getting their hands greasy (chicken) or sticky. I always put a couple of plastic forks and spoons and a few individually packaged wet wipes into my purse in case they want them.

We are going again, in 18 days!! :cool1:

We went the first time this April... and got a two for the price of one deal..
and we all thought it was worth it.. my son (9) and friends niece(13) had a blast..
not only enjoyed the horses etc.. but had a blast eating with their hands...

if its money you cant really afford , then its not the end of the world if you dont go.. but we would do it again next time..
