Medieval T. Royal Table cost worth it?

I just bought tix for the Medieval Times dinner and when I made ressies the lady asked if I wanted royal seating....$7 extra...I don't mind paying the extra per person if it's worth it!! I guess it is supposed to be the first 3 rows. Anyone have any experiences? Is it worth the cost? Can I request the first row or you get what you get? Party will include myself, mom, sis (24), bro (16), neice (15) and 2 DSs (8 and 12 who I would really be doing it for!!). Thanks!
