Medicine Side effects?

Has anyone else noticed that when they read off the sdie effects for most medicines that sometimes the side effects are even worse than what you are trying to treat?

I'm talking about the one's that say "and in some cases, death."

I always have to chuckle over the ads on tv for the latest "wonder" drugs.. First they show you all these happy scenarios and how peachy keen your life is going to be - and then very quickly at the end of the commercial rattle off everything from losing your hair to rapid weight gain to seizures to bloody noses to strokes to permanent paralysis to blindness - and all this for a hay fever drug or some such thing..

No thanks - I'll pass (and suffer)..

Tee hee, allergy commercials are my favorite. "Side effects may including: vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, runny nose, and cold."

Yeah, give me some of that to help me relieve my allergies!!

This is too funny.

A relative of mine was put into acute kidney failure, a VERY rare side effect of Lipitor. Now when the Lipitor commercials say, "If you're feeling muscle weakness, contact your doctor immediately, as this may be an indication of a serious side effect," he yells, "CALLED DEATH!"

Lunenasta--a sleep aid--


then comes the side effects--may cause drowiness!!!!!

isnt that what this one is for--sleep!!!!

another one is for neulasta--a very expensive chemo drug--

the ad goes on to say ask your dr is neulasta is for you--

well if I had to ask my dr if a $4000 drug is for me Id change drs!!!


life sure easier when they wernt allowed to advertise drugs or lawyers !!!
