My DD has never weighed over 100 lbs. in her life - with the exception of when she was pg for my granddaughter..
Well a few months ago the doctor put her on a medication to help her sleep and she started gaining weight at the speed of light - as much as 4 lbs. a week!! In the blink of an eye she went from 100 lbs. to 132 lbs..
They took her off the medication when they finally determined that it was in fact the med that was doing it, but the weight has remained and in her own words, "I'm stuck with all this junk in the trunk.."
They said it caused fluid retention (she eats like a bird), so why hasn't it gone away?
Will it go away? If not, how does she get rid of it? She doesn't eat as it is so dieting wouldn't be the answer..
Anyone experienced this - and how did you deal with it? She's soooo upset - none of her clothes fit anymore and to be blunt, she feels (and looks) "fat"....
