.........now come on and keep this serious, it's a serious question. I have a friend (no really I do have a friend) who is having trouble passing gas like she should. She is quite uncomfortable. So who has any REAL advice for her?

No seriously, Paige, FLAXSEED added to your diet every single day will DO THE TRICK..

Start out slow, 1-2 tsps and work up to 2 tblsps in a days meals. You can buy ground flaxseed at any health food store.

If it's been an ongoing problem, see a doctor.. If not, maximum strength Gas-X might help..

There's also the old home remedy of rubbing/massaging the stomach/abdomen area in a counter clockwise direction..

ok...I'll bite my mom had this problem...she had to have surgery b/c her stomach as an adult was the size of an 8 yr old and had major problems...anyway they told her to lay on her left side....and bring her right leg up to her stomach...and the position you're laying in will help it release... she needs to see a dr. if its a serious problem. she might need meds... maybe she has irritible bowel disorder... Zelnorm would help everything regulate...
