MED cruisers use cell ph or walkie talkies ?

How do you plan to communicate with your family aboard ship and in port ? Will you use walkie talkies or cell phones ?

We are purchasing a Mobal phone to call back to the states, but need to know how to communicate with my Grandson in case we get separated . Would appreciate any help you could give me !

We used cell phones...to our suprise they worked 90% of the time because you are never to far off the coast.
