Mears Shuttle service

We will be using Mears transportation to get to and from the airport (staying at AKL), and I wanted to know if they transfer your luggage from the plane to the shuttle bus, or do you have to get your luggage and go to the Mears shutttle area? I guess when we did the Land/Sea package, it spoiled me! Thanks for in advance for a response!
