Mears from MCO to RPR

Hi, we fly to mco this wed!! We are starting our holiday at US (our first time!!).
We are going to take Mears to RPR as there are only 2 or us and it looks to be the most economical way to go. WE will fly back from WDW so we only need one way on mears.
Do we need to make advanced ressies on the mears website or is there a mears counter we can just go and buy our ride then and there? We arrive at 4pm so it's not like it's an inconvenient time.
OTOH it could be a busy time and perhaps it would be better to have that advanced ressie.....

Any thoughts on the matter?
