Mears Connect (When)?

Anyone have any guesses as to when Mears is going to announce pricing/other details and open reservations?

They said summer and summer is about half over now.

I haven't seen any details on it so far. I'd pop your email in their Sign Up To Get Notified list, then you should know the day they announce the details.

I'm in the same boat. I think I'm booking a car just in case. Even though we really didn't want to do that, as we'd have to fly down with a car seat.

Just priced out my vacation for June 2022 on Mears. Seven people with 6 pieces of luggage—$300 round trip and that’s on the bus. We are too large of a group for their private transport. We need 2 car seats so other types of transportation may be difficult. But I’m going to look into it!!

Pricing and reservations are on the Mears Connect site now. I did not get notification even though I signed up. It's $32 round trip per adult and $27 round trip per child.

Does it include luggage handling like DME did?

If not this service is a complete Disappointment unless your a single rider. Uber is less expensive and more convenient

The website does not mention anything about retrieving luggage so I don't believe it is included.

You mean from baggage claim? Unlikely, because Mears was never involved in that. Disney contracted with a separate company for that part and their bell services did the deliveries to the room. That’s been gone over a year.

I am running into the same problem. But next to the quote price, there is a little "i", if you click on that, you can see the pricing. I don't have my March flights yet, but wanted an idea of the price.

Ran a test if it were just the wife and I; Shared was $64, Premium was $200. The shared price for two seams reasonable and comparable for the old Magical Express; the $200 isn't bad compared to using a Town Car service, but appears there is no grocery stop so I'd still be more inclined to us a Town Car myself.

Does anyone know if Saratoga Springs is a drop off spot on the Meargical Express? I don't see it as an option when I try and book.

I couldn't find pricing without entering my credit card. I don't remember if I signed up for the email notification, I'll look in a minute. I saw it stated more hotels will be added. Went back to look and it says the list will expand next year. It's in the FAQ section toward the bottom of the page.

I just booked a one way trip to the hotel for 3 adults and 3 bags and it was $48 for late February 2022. We arrive close to midnight and I don't feel comfortable trying to get/taking Uber at that time. We leave to go home midday and will take an Uber back to the airport, which will most likely be cheaper (depending on surge pricing) and I can leave closer to my flight time instead of getting picked up 3 hours prior.

They say the express service picks you up two hours before your flight. I wonder if you could request an earlier pickup. With some of the lines we’ve encountered at MCO for checking bags and security (even with precheck) plus traffic to the airport, we are the types that don’t like to cut it too close.
