DH, DS2,DS4 and myself booked the FTP with Mears transportation. I didnt know of other options at the time I booked because this is our first time. Anyway now we have my MIL and 2 neices meeting us at MCO and Mears would cost another $68 for the three of them, should I just book a van with Cartier or Tiffany for $22 more? We will need 2 carseats for my 2 DS's. Also I could use a grocery stop because I was going to bring drinks and snacks from home. Will Disney refund me my money for the Mears transportation? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!!!!

I would definitely suggest using a towncar service (we're using Cartier for our upcoming trip in October). We've used towncar services for a few years now, and I like the "door to door" service! With Mears, you'll have to make other stops at other hotels - the towncar brings you right to your hotel!

About 2 yrs ago, we had an early flight out of New Orleans. We arrived and our towncar driver was waiting for us, and zipped us over the the All Star Movies. Went to check in, shopped around a little in the gift shop, and then got our jackets from where they were holding our luggage to head to Epcot since we would not be returning til late that night. As we were walking to go board the Epcot bus, we saw two of the families we had flew with just arriving off the Mears bus. (I remember them because my DD was terrified when we took off and screamed - and it set off many of the other children crying, including these families' kids! They all did eventually calm down, but it was a rough 10 minutes or so!!)

I would call Disney to see about a refund on the Mears tickets. I don't think it would be a problem, but call just to make sure! Good luck!!!

We had a great experience with Catrier this past April. They were first class all the way...well worth the extra cost.:D
