Good Morning everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great work week - it's almost over for most of you guys. I have to work Saturday. I really need to get on that person that makes the schedule at work - wait a minute - that's me. Nevermind ;)

Work is the theme for today's poll

"How long have you been working at your current place of employment?"

Will be 15 years this October - time for a change!!

::yes::

4+ years but quitting as soon as I can get another job, because I see people who started 2 years later than I did, getting promoted and I haven't had a raise in 4 years. I can't come up with any explanation why, since my bosses constantly tell me I'm great and have never criticized anything I do.

Sending out resumes, but also worried about finding something with good hours.

Actualy worked...or felt like it?

I don't work outside the home, but was tempted to click on how many years I've been a SAHM tho. It's still work, just unpaid work.::yes::

If only I could win the 177MM lottery...my answer would change. :)

I have been at the same place for 14 years. I was thinking of leaving after my son finishes college and moving down to FL because my boss was driving me crazy. I love the job, but just didn't need the crap she was pulling.
Well, she got FIRED!!!!! two weeks ago. This place is so different now, no stress, and everyone is smiling. I may stay here until I retire.
The benefits are excellent, and now without the stress, the environment is great. Peggie

I worked part time for 9 months, then worked full time/part time for 2 years, and have been full time for almost 4 months now. So, maybe 3 years? I get confused.:p

Started a part-time job at our local library last december, Retired from BellSouth after 33 years in 1999. My nephew started college last summer 2004 and I would rather work part-time to help him out a little then have him try and go to school full-time and work at a part-time job that would have kepted him out all hours of the night. After a year of school with a 4.0 avg he is now looking for a part-time job, but...
I love working at the library because I don't have to...does that make sense?

I've been married and a mom for so many years. I've been given 18 to life! ;)

But, my boutique has been open for a year.

Officially, for just under 5 months, but I worked as a contractor here for 4 months before that.

My previous job, I was at 6 1/2 years before I was laid off. :)

I clicked on 1-2 years, as I have been with TRU and Tastefully Simple for a year and a half. However, I have been a mom for going on 10 years.
