Happy Thursday everyone!
Well the week is half over, thank goodness. Although I guess I can't complain, it seems like the year has been flying by. Wasn't it just January a day ago?
I am SO bad this morning. I overslept. Matt came in and woke me up at 7:15 as usual. Brought me a cup of tea to take my first round of pills with. Usually I sit in bed for about 10 minutes and watch "Fairly Oddparents" on Nick while my tea cools down then I get ready for work.
Umm.. well. I don't remember much of him waking me up - just fast forward to him coming in the room at 8:03 with me sound asleep!
Which leads me to today's question. "Are you normally on time, early or late?"

Unless I have an errand or something before then, then I'm there at 7:20-7:25. I'm not always predictable.
Things don't always go smoothly. If I'm late, I don't mind staying late to make up the time. But the bosses I've had don't want to work with that. The last year I spent at my job I went nuts to be on time no matter what. Didn't even pay off. I could be running down the hallway to get to that darned time clock. I think there was one day I was late all year. Then when it came to my review, the witch said I had an attendance problem.
She said that because there was an annual meeting I should have been there for to "smile" at the money makers for the hospital, but I got stuck without a babysitter and didn't make it. That was her reasoning. I have to say that was a MAJOR contribution to my quitting that job!

. That one I don't get -- I'm out of the house every single day Monday-Friday with 6 or 7 kids depending on the day and NOT once have they been late for preschool. I don't get it. Then again, I don't loose sleep over it.
