Good morning and happy hearts day to everyone!!

Hope everyone has a nice and relaxing if not romantic day lined up today - heck, I would take relaxing over romatic right now - yikes, work has been a bear!

I finally got a buyer to listen to me in my corporate office. I used to be with an independant owner 6 yrs ago, that had to sell the chain back to corp. Hallmark when he became very ill with a quadruple bypass. My store OWNED Valentines day.

Well corp Hallmark has no clue and always refused to listen to managers - we are peons you know! We don't know what's best for our stores - we just work there 45 hrs a week - they are the ones with the degree in marketing..lol

Anyhow - long story short - (I know Popdad - too late) I hooked up with a brand new just out of school buyer who thought it was a good idea to listen to my input. He did the buying and pricing on my ideas and currently my store is running 18% over last year for Valentines day - and the areas he bought for me are almost doubled. SO THERE YOU BUTTHEAD BUYERS THAT TOLD ME I DON"T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!

Anyway - on to the question!

Rounding out the Magic Kingdom, I have to ask

"What is your favorite attraction in Liberty Square or Frontierland"?

I know.. this one will be hard.. hee hee hee <--- evil laugh

Actually, I got on Big Thunder Mountain by mistake! I was trying to get to the train that goes around the park...LOL! I guess this was my first trip, huh? I saw a sign that said "Train" and just followed that. Ha! Ended up going up and winding around. Then it dawned on me...there's an awful lot of people for the train. Then I realized where we were, especially after seeing the train! Well, at that point I couldn't back my way down with everyone behind us. So even though I'm NOT a coaster person, I went! And I liked it! We got in line again.

This was a tough one. I really like Big Thunder and Splash but I voted for Big Thunder because I don't get wet lol

Hard for me to chose between Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. They are two of my favorites in all of Disney. I'm going to vote for Splash, though, because we usually go to Orlando in August and getting wet feels really good!

Okay, mine is not an attraction, but it is my most favorite spot in the Magic Kingdom.

The little courtyard area in front of Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. There is a little table and I just have to sit there for even a second every time we go there. This year we were in front of the Sleepy Hollow Refreshment area and taped the Christmas parade so my favorite spot was in the background. Then after it was over we were wondering over to go into the Christmas Shoppe and we were standing in the courtyard area where the sleigh was. I told my DH and DS to sit in the sleigh with me and we sat and watched Wishes fireworks (what we could....tip...not a great viewing spot LOL). It was Disney magic at its finest.

I was going to vote the I refuse, but I didnt, ok I chose HM. Im tending to choose, things I can do with the twins, and the ones that have fondest memories, maybe its Valentines day making me mushey

I REFUSED to vote!! I can't choose between Splash Mountain and The Haunted Mansion!! They both are excellent. Big Thunder Railroad ranks pretty high for me as well.

You made me chose between Splash and Haunted Mansion! How awful. But I picked Splash. I REALLY like them bothe almost equally. (Big thunder ranks pretty high too!)

We got wet, in fact drenched while on Big Thunder. You would of thought we went swimming with our clothes on. In the middle of the ride the sky opened & it poured so hard i couldn't keep my eyes open.

I couldn't vote because it is a 3-way tie for us, big thunder mountain, haunted mansion and splash mountain....wish we were there now (LOL)!!!

Believe it or not (if the decision was up to me & DH we would be the only ones that voted for The hall of Presidents... But seeing as DD usually commandeers our vacations we voted Haunted Mansion (which would have been our second choice anyway)!
