Happy Friday everyone!

Anyone out here taking a long weekend for memorial day? What are your plans?

I decided that in honor of "The Day After Tomorrow" opening in the theaters today's poll would be..

"What is your favorite disaster movie?"

I gave the vote to Towering Inferno as it was the very first disaster movie I saw at the ripe old age of about 16.

But, I also think The Core is an excellent movie

I gave the edge to Twister because I like both the stars and the Universal attraction. I hope that TDAT will be my new favorite though because it looks so cool in the ads!

I love a lot of those esp. Towering Inferno, and Earthquake, but I think my all time favorite is Titanic.

My DS loves disaster movies, I perfer movies that are a disaster.

I am not a big fan of disaster movies. Twister and The Perfect Storm are on my all-time WORST movie lists. I had to vote with Independence Day. It was pretty entertaining.

I voted for Independence Day because it was a lot of fun. Will Smith is great.

I also liked Perfect Storm. Maybe because

1. it was based on a real story
2. it was a New England story
3. George Clooney isn't too hard on the eyes
4. all of the above

I voted for Deep Impact because well, it made a deep impact on me! I didn't even want to see this movie originally. I was so engrossed in it. I bawled my eyes out. In fact I was crying the whole way home after the movie. Now either I am a big crybaby...or that movie was good stuff!
