TGIF everyone!!!

I sooo need the time off! Yikes what a week - what a month! I took some extra time off from work so I would be home while DH goes to Georgia for 4 days. He's heading to Dalton, Browneyes.. is that near you?

Anyway - here is your question of the day!

"What is your part of Downtown Disney?"

I love just walking around the whole place, watching people, day or night. We do some shopping and eating and playing at Leggo but I just like to walk around. Sightseeing is fun.

Dalton's about 50 minutes from where I live, but about 30 minutes from where I'm at now (I'm at work right now, supposedly;)).:) I had to take my ds to the Red Lobster over there last week.:teeth: Matt won't be too far from his hometown either.:)

The only thing I've done at DtD is eat at Planethollywood and we looked through the entrance level of DisneyQuest, so I guess I'd have to choose food being my favorite DtD attraction.:p

I like most of the stores, but I could spend hours at Build a Pin! :earseek:

I love the stores and also I had a great time at Adventurer's Club and want to go again in April.

I voted for the comedy clubs, especially Adventurer's Club. I could visit there every night and still enjoy myself. DH and I have even been in the show a couple of times. It's a great time. :D

I love the shopping! So many things you can't find around home. World is Disney is great (if you can get to it in the morning or mid-day on a weekday) you know when it isn't wall to wall people. I love the Disney at home store and the scrapbooking store as well! We always try to make a few hours at least just to look around and buy.

Never been to DTD. :earseek: Am I missing something? ;)

Enjoy your time off, Lauri! Do some SHOPPING! :teeth:

I wish I could have picked food and shops and Disney Quest! I chose food because we really do go for Wolfgangs (great sushi), I love the atmosphere at Rainforest and DQ has such great Burgers, and The CheeseCake Factory! We like to browse in the shops too. We usually don't buy too much though, we just bring our carry-ons.
Oh, I just love your polls about Disney!

The jumping fountains. It's in an isolated area that DS can take his shorts and shoes off, play in, run around, wear himself out and not bother a soul. People love to delight in the kids enjoyment of them too!

I love that toy store....:D

I love the shopping- my favorites include the Once Upon a Toy store, the Pin Shop, World of Disney, the scrapbook store, & the Home Store. We have eaten at Rainforest Cafe and Capt Jacks Oyseter bar so far. And I agree- a weekday morning is a superb time to shop. Although Mom and I went the last night we were at Disney on our Oct. trip and since we weren't there to shop, just soak up atmosphere, it was really fun. Lots of people, lots of energy and I love the Disney music playing in the background.

I love the downtown Disney restaurants especially Portobello's.

I'm not a huge fan of shopping.

I love the shopping. It's amazing how quickly the money goes flying out of my wallet at World of Disney! :earseek: :teeth:

I LOVE DISNEY QUEST!
I think it's Disney's best kept secret as it's not as crowded as a lot of the other attractions. Once we went the first time we'd never consider skipping it. DH & I could spend hours there.

A close second however would be World of Disney for gift shopping before going back home.
