Mean, but funny enough for the record books!

LOL!

The kid looked a little too old to be bursting into tears like that.

I don't know. My dad scared my youngest brother at about that age like that. My brother screamed like a 4 year old litle girl and passed out colder than a wedge. :rotfl: It's funny to laugh at him now about it considering he's almost 7 feet tall.

Very Very mean...but yet so very very funny!!! :rotfl2:

:confused3 He looks like a big 7 or 8 year old. How is that too old? Not very nice at all, and I feel sorry for the poor guy.

I am so not finding the humor in that.

I had DS who was 4 at the time doing a test online for color blindness and a guy like that popped up. All of my kids were totally traumatized by it. In fact, when the optomotrist had DD looking at the book in his office for color ident, she asked him if there would be a creepy guy in it. She's 9 and this was at least two years ago.

I have to say that it's mean, with a little kid.But yes funny to do to an adult :lmao: . My co-workers and I pulled the same thing on a lady that we work with and she screamed so loud it startled us. She thought it was funny after the "shock" wore off.

I don't think it's funny and I think it's horrible that his parents are posting it all over the internet. Wretched parents. :sad2:

I saw this the other day and while several friends were chuckling while they said "that's so mean!", I found nothing funny about it AT ALL. Children put a lot of trust in parents and if one of my parents had done that to me, it would have stayed with me a long time. The site I saw it on listed it as the video-takers (Chad) future stepson...that made me even angrier. I mean, here is a man who is supposed to be building a relationship with the child of his future wife and he pulls a stunt like this... :confused3

I guess it might have been funny if he'd put down the camera once the crying child came to him for comfort, but he just continued to film...pretty rotten if you ask me...

I think I have a pretty good sense of humor; some may even say it's a bit twisted.

I have to admit though - I didn't see any humor in that at all.

Doing it to an adult is one thing, because they can turn around and knock the crap out of you, but to your own child? And to plaster it on the internet??? Nope. Not getting it. :confused3

This was not funny. I knew what was coming and thought it was just disgusting how that adult kept filming after he saw how upset that child was. If it is true that this was a man tricking his future stepson, I would be having serious second thoughts about marrying the guy if I were that mother.

I agree. It's disgusting. I can't imagine anyone finding humor in this.

yeah, I didn't like it either. he was truly upset.

And exactly what "record books" is it " 'funny' enough" for??

I agree with the majority that I do not feel that it is funny. I also feel that it can be damaging to a young child's psyche. It is one thing to pop out from around a corner and spook your kid, but to pop a hideous 'monster' type thing at them on the computer or tv, just to see if you can scare them to the point of tears, that is just too sick for my taste.

I am not a fan of the pop up scary thing anyway. I am often afraid that someone with heart problems will watch it and have a bad effect.
