Ok we are trying to figure out our ADR's for our Oct trip. I already made an ADR for breakfast at CRT.

What places have people had good experiences with children? It will me myself, dw and 3yo dd.

I am probably adding dinner at Ohana and Chef Mickey's (always have breakfast here so thought I would change it up this time).

I am thinking of lunch at Tony's (I always wanted to eat there).

Some other ideas were LTT, Biergarten,Alfredo,Nine Dragons,San Angel Inn,Tempura Kiku,Teppanyaki

Any of these good ideas? Anyone have any better suggestions, I am open to anything.

We always enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern, Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace.

Have a great trip!

Just beaware Alfredo's will be in transition during that time since another management group won the contract and will have assumed control of its operation by the time of your trip.

Be open to change your plans or strategy, since we found our three year daughter to be rather reserved when it came to eating at Disney, but then again we had the concierge lounge too. Meal sizes are larger than a 3yo typically will consume.

Additionally, If you are in the DDP your child may be left with a choice of 3 or 4 entree courses, since Disney mainstreamed offerings throughout many restaurants to control cost under the marketing spin of healthy kid offerings. Not sure if DDP applies to a 3yo though, since we do not find it to be a savings for us.

Buffets work best for kids. Crystal Palace (MK), Ohana (PR), 1900 Park Fare(GF) (slated to reopen Oct 1st), Biergarten (WS), etc.

Also, Afternoon Tea (GF), San Angel Inn (WS) (cool and dark...kids are known to fall a sleep here), Sci Fi (MGM) for hamburgers, shake and movie shorts, Coral Reef (FW)to watch the fish, or Plaza Restaurant (MK) next to the castle.

You might check the rehab schedule too since many WS restaurants are goinng through a rehab cycle this year with many reopening late Fall 2007

My kids both love chef mickey's breakfast. My little one was 2 when she went and loved 1900 Park Fare for Cindy and the Biergarten. She liked the entertainment and chicken spaetzle soup and pretzel bread.

We have always liked the buffets and family styles with the pre-school set. Also, if you go that route you won't run into the perceived problem of a limited menu. In almost every case they can have the same as you. We just got back from a 9 day stay and we hit:

Crystal Palace
CRT
LTT
'Ohana
Boma
Cape May

I'd recommend any one of them along with Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

Our boys, who are 5 and 3, really liked the Biergarten, San Angel Inn (because of the volcano and the river). They also like Chef Mickeys for breakfast, LTT for character dinner, we even took them to the Tepanyaki (sp.?) and they thought it was a lot of fun watching the chef.

My DD has been going to WDW since she was almost 3 so we've taken her to many different restaurants. The ones she enjoyed, most when she was younger (and some she still does) were:

Teppanyaki-the chef can really make all the difference-and the food is always served hot.
50' Prime Time Cafe-she enjoys talking to the servers, and even tells them jokes.
Buffet-particularly PF since they had "all her favorites" on the kid's buffet and she really enjoyed being able to serve herself from the lowered area (when she was a little older). PF will be closed starting from 7-9-07 to 10-1-07, though
Any meal with characters-it's hard to get them to eat when princesses, mice, bears, tiggers, etc. are coming around!:rotfl2: But they have a great time!

Hope these help, have fun!

ADDED-just noticed you are going in Oct. so 1900 Park Fare will be reopened. I would go there either for breakfast, or dinner. We've alway had good food, and great character interaction there!:cloud9:

I personally think the 3 top meals for little kids are the castle, Chef Mickey, and Ohana's. You got Cinderella, a fun Mickey Mouse, and Ohana's is a different fun which is good.

Another different fun would be Whispering Canyon and the Biergarten is not only a buffet, but has the polka band with a little polka dance floor.
