Meals for a 10 year old

I am planning a trip for myself and my son who is 10. What are the best places to eat at? Any suggestions for charecter dining too?

He would probably love the Sci-Fi Drive in - you sit in cars at a pretend drive in to eat. I know this is the one my 11 yr old daughter is looking forward to most.
Also, if he is an outgoing kid, the 50s Prime Time Cafe is fun. Also Whispering Canyon is fun.

Chef Mickeys is a great character dinner and really fun. Crystal Palace is nice and Liberty Tree Tavern is nice too.

I have sons 10 and 13 and I can tell you some of their favorite places to eat
(I also have a daughter 6 who only cares about the princess meals LOL)

1. Whispering canyon cafe ... the boys get a kick out of this as the servers are really funny and its plain regular food ...nothing weird. I tell people this is the "princess meal for boys" hahah

2. 50's prime time ... the servers tease and fuss at the adults. They made my DH wear a bib ones and fed him airplane style. It was a HUGE HIT with the boys.

3. Sci Fi diner ... my boys loved eating in the cars

4. The resteraunt in Moroco (I always forget the name) as it has the belly dancers

I agree with the above posters~all great places! Also, Ohana is sooooo much fun!!!! They have characters for breakfast.

Ds10 like Chef Mickey, Garden Grill and SciFi.

He was ok with Crystal Palace.

Ds9 Really loves Garden Grill. We also went to whispering canyon and 50's PT last year. I was a little concerned about how he'd react to these experiences, because he is quite reserved - but he loved them !! Despite the server at 50's trying to arrange him a date with a girl on another table . And he also requested Ketchup at WC !!

I think the previous suggestions are great (my son is 11) and I'm going to add Coral Reef. That's my son's favorite restaurant, for both the fish tank and the food.

My DS9 loves breakfast at "Ohana's (character meal with Lilo & Stitch) & loves dinner at Chef Mickey's.

DH & DS ate at Shula's this past summer. DS LOVED it!
