Meal Splitting?

My husband and I have been on diets for some time, and whenever we go out, we usually split a dinner. We've found that the portions are just way too big, and rather than ordering two meals and either trying to finish it all or bagging it and taking it home, we just split one and add an extra salad, etc. Has any one had any experience with Disney as far as this is concerned?

They've never had a problem with us doing that. :)

I've split meals many times, either with my mom or with friends. A friend and I split a prime rib last month at CRT. Half was plenty for each of us.

My husband and I always split at Disney and at home, except buffets of course. There has never been a problem. I do always tip as if we both got a meal unless the service is bad. We very much hate to see food thrown away and the servings always seem large.

We split all last week... no problems at all, and they always split them and presented them as seperate entrees in the back, as well.

My husband and I sometimes split a meal if we want dessert. We also tip as if we had ordered two entrees.

My friend and I ate at MGM's Mama Melrose and split an entire meal...appetizer, salad and main dish. Our waiter was happy to do this for us and even had the kitchen split the main dish onto two plates!

My whole family spilts three meals for six people. They always get more then enough food. The best thing I learned from these boards was the cheese burger trick where you just order an extra bun and split a double cheese burger. Aren't these boards great! Gina
