Meal restrictions

I think I read before that some restaurants that do accept the DDP's do have certain meal restrictions like things that you can't order or upcharges, so which are they??

Very few. The only upcharges appear to be for multi-course meals at Marrakesh. Most reports say the Kitchen Sink dessert is excluded at Beaches & Cream - but that is a multiple serving dish. Appetizers or desserts "for two" might be only available to two persons who want to order them and share.
