hi, we are going to DLP in march, and are staying for 3 nights/4 days, so will require 3 evening meals.

im hoping to book in advance, and on looking through (some of the many!) reviews on this forum, and looking on the DLP webbie, i have come to the conclusion that we would like to eat at:

cafe mickey
the lucky nugget
and
auberge de cendrillon

due to the characters at mealtimes, and the fact that the cinderella one looks lovely!

any advice or other suggestions welcomed. what time are the characters on? do we get to choose where we sit? best times to go/places to sit? have i made a good 'mixture' of restaurants? too many places to eat, not enough time!

thanks for your help guys

Hi,

Cafe Mickey is fine for dinner - in fact all the restaurants you have picked are lovely, with great character interaction.

However, you said evening meals? Cafe Mickey is the only restaurant of the 3 you've named which is open after the official park closing time. The other 2 restaurants are in the main park itself, and so your latest booking at either of these restaurants will be one hour before park closing time.

We always go to Cafe Mickey because of the characters, but the food is not really that nice and the service is quite slow.
Rainforest Cafe is nice, the food is good and it's placed in Village, so you can eat there after the parks are closed.
Walt's is also very nice, a beautiful restaurant with lovely food and very good service.

You've got great choices :) Annette's Diner is a restaurant that we always have at least one visit to on a trip :)

3 really good choices there` :thumbsup2

Lucky Nugget is my DS's favourite, we were there in November and there were characters present right through our meal, our reservation was at 1.45 I think. Lots of choice on the menu, the buffet is quite extensive, we've never had a problem finding something that everyone likes.

Cafe Mickey this is a fabulous upbeat, quite noisy restaurant but really good fun and I have to say we've had no problem whatsoever with the food on our visits there.

Auberge de Cendrillon, unfortunately with 2 DS's I'm unlikely to get to the Princess meal but it is a very beautiful restaurant. :)
