Meal Plus now at MK - Can You Confirm?

Mousesavers is reporting that they are now offering meal plus certificates at MK, like they do at AK. Can anyone who has been to the World recently confirm this? What restaurants are included? Is the price the same as a AK?

I heard the same thing from a friend who returned from WDW a little over a week ago. She said she thougth she saw a sign for it, but didn't pay that much attention as they were eating at Crystal Palace. It would be great if it was true.

the Meal Plus is something that you can purchase in AK at Pizzafari, Tusker House, Flame Tree, and Restaurantsaurus.

It is $11.99 for adults, and $5.99 for children, plus tax.

It entitles you to one counter service meal with drink, and you have coupons to use later in the day for one popcorn or ice cream, and 1 bottle water or soda.

Oh I hope MK is doing this now too!! We loved using these meal deals whenever visiting AK.

Karebear - at the AK the meal deals were at their counter service places and you simply placed an order for the type of meal deal you wanted. They gave you tickets right then. One was for your lunch/dinner you just ordered, another ticket was for a soda or water for later in the day, and another ticket was for a popcorn or ice cream also for later in the day. Couldn't be easier!

I hope to see these types of deals at all the parks some day!

I sent an email to Disney to inquire about this. I do not expect to hear back until tomorrow, but will post whatever I hear.

We just got back from Disney and did not see this deal at MK unfortunately or I would have definitely purchased it! At AK, we saw it. We went to Pizzafari w/out purchasing these and order my daughter the kids pizza meal and it automatically came with it! What a surprise! If we would have known that, we all would have ordered the kids pizza meal, it is the same size as the adult, just a smaller drink which they even refilled for free! Dont know if it was a slow day or what, but what a wonderful surprise for her! She got popcorn and a coke on the way out! That paid almost for the whole meal. I will keep checking back to see if anyone finds out if MK offers these.

We are leaving in 10 days!! I loved the AK meal deal - especially at Flame Tree or Tusker House - one meal deal easily fed two adults! Then, on our way out - a delicious Toll House Cookie Ice Cream sandwich, again, easily feeds two, and a refreshing bottle of water!!

I wonder if they will be pickier about the ages on the kid's deal? My daughter is 12, turning 13 on our trip, and is very big for her age - 5 ft 8 in and still growing. She is a very picky eater, and tends to only eat little kid food. I never had any trouble in AK ordering a kid's deal for her, and it is quite a bargain, as $5.99 would barely cover the cost of the bottled water and ice cream, never mind the meal!

Can't wait to check it out!

I noticed the kids pizza is cheese only at Pizzafari. Does anyone know if you can have pepperoni added? This sounds like a great deal, but my son will only eat pizza with pepperoni...it would be a shame to have to pay the adult price for him.

Has anyone ever asked to have pepperoni on the kid's pizza?
