Meal Plan

Hi,
We are planning out trip to Disney and are looking at the meal plan idea. Can anyone tell me if this is worth it. I like hotdogs but I do not think for every meal. We are a mom, Dad and 7 year old "picky" eater.

The meal plan is way more than hot dogs. I would suggest starting at www.allearsnet.com and looking at the menus. The meal plan will give each person 1 counter service (fast foodish), 1 table service (nice restaurant or buffet) and 1 snack (bottled water, popcorn etc) for each night you have booked. It is a lot of food and IMHO, well worth the money. Dh and I sat down and figured out what we "would" eat and added up what it would cost. We ended up figuring we would save $250. Here is another vote for the dining plan. We did this in Sept and we are doing again in February. Well worth it. Even some of the counter service meals are wonderful, Tusker House in AK and Flame Tree BBQ in AK. Columbia Harbour House in MK, American in Epcot Great BBQ sandwich The Table service meals are so good. Go to Allearsnet.com as mention before and check out the menus you will see what we mean

Thanks for the advice ladies. We have booked it after some investigating of what the menues are at the various locations. It seems like an excellent deal!!

Just to toss in my 2 cents it is an excellent way to go, we just did the Dining plan for 3 days with 5 adults on the plan, we would have spent way over $800 at regular price and overall we saved $300 easy. Our bill at CapN Jacks was $300 by itself(which I highly recommend double lobster tails) so bottom line their is way more than just hotdogs!

Also a tip dont use your plan for breakfast and try to maximize the bang for the buck by searching out the better restuarants. We had good expereinces at CapN Jacks, Boma, and the concourse steakhouse
