Ok, color me confused. We are going to Disney World the end of June for 7 days, 6 nights with Deluxe dining. I have adr's set up for 6 days because our agent said the meal plan days = the numbers of nights on property.

I've had a few people tell me, one who I think is a Disney pro, that we should have the meal plan on the 7th day. My agent says no. I can't call Disney until my 45 days are here, in about a week, but this is driving me nutty!

Any help?

The number of days of the plan = the number of nights.

Meaning 6 nights means you have 6 TS, 6 QS, and 6 snacks if your on the regular plan.

However you can use them any time from when you check in and get your cards til midnight on the day you checkout. So you have 7 days to use those 6 TS, 6 QS and snacks...

I agree with the previous poster. Just wanted you to feel secure that two people have the correct answer. It is always based on how many nights you stay. Like PP said, 6 TS, 6 CS, 6 snacks. And also like PP said, you can use them any days you wish up until midnight of your last day. You can use them in whatever amount you wish as well. So, if you want to eat all counter service on one day and use two table service on another day, you can. U can use them as you please. My trip in the fall is going to be 12 days, 11 nights, but we are adding the 11th night without the dining plan, so in actuallity, our dining plan is only for 10 nights and 11 days. We have reservations for 9 meals for TS as Cinderella's Royal Table uses two credits per person.

Here is a copy of the Disney Dining Plan for 2012:

Have fun!

I agree with that it's per NIGHT of your stay, but you say you have deluxe dining so how the PPs say 1TS, 1 CS, 1 Snack is incorrect.

You have 3 "meal" credits and 2 snacks on deluxe. Dinner shows and signatures still counts as 2 credits. If you space out your ADRs and don't do 3 meals a day (by using snack credits to build yourself a meal), you'd still have credits left over to use on your last day. To clarify, the credits are issued per night of your stay, but they expire at midnight on the day of check out.

This is what my plan looks like, I'm on Deluxe as well.

9-10
Lunch at Pop (CS)...............................1 meal credit
Dinner at 50's PT (TS)..........................1 meal credit
9-11
Breakfast at Captains Grille (TS).............1 meal credit
Dinner at Artist Point (Signature)............2 meal credits
9-12
Breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe (TS)......1 meal credit
Lunch somewhere in Epcot (CS)..............1 meal credit
Dinner at Coral Reef (TS).......................1 meal credit
9-13
Breakfast at Whispering Canyon (TS).......1 meal credit = Total 9 meal credits
