Hi all - Merry Christmas :santa:

Hope you all had a great time :)

I have a Q about the meal plans, is there a list anywhere of which starters, mains and desserts you are allowed to order in each restaurant?

Cheers

There's a number of menu pictures available on these boards (found near the end of almost all the restaurant review threads) - it's the set menus which are included and they usually have a little half board logo next to them.

However - you are technically able to choose from anything on any menu - it's just that if you choose something that's not a set menu then you have to pay any difference in cost between the value of your voucher and the cost of your meal (set menus are always free regardless of their price on the menu).

Hi we are heading to DLRP in April and I am considering the meal plan. Can you use the vouchers any day you are there or re they day specific? And do you think they are a good value? Thanks.

They're date stamped for between the start and end of your stay, but no more than that.

As for being good value - at the moment, they are very good value as (taking the highest level half board (premium) into account) you pay about £30 for a voucher worth about €44. So - the exchange rate on the vouchers works out at roughly 1.50 - way better than any exchange rate you could dream of getting at the moment.

They also come in various values (standard, plus and premium) depending on how much you think you will spend (per person) on your meal.

But - they're not valid at counter service places, so only work out worth using if you have a table service or buffet once a day. They're also not valid at the Rainforest, Ludwig's or Planet Hollywood restaurants so if these are high on your list to try then you may also want to think again.

Hope that makes sense...
