How does it work if you purchased a meal plan?

When you check in to the hotel you will be given your plastic room key. Your park tickets AND your meal plan will be loaded onto this this card.

Do you have to make reservations lookfor breakfast or do you just show up?

You do not make reservations breakfast, you just show up. Your room key will be scanned at the host stand and you will be brought to a table.

Where is breakfast at the Disneyland hotel?

Breakfast at Disneyland Hotel is a buffet in Royal Banquet Restaurant.

Where can I find the menu

As it is a buffet, there is no online menu. However there are plenty of YouTube and Blog reviews with photos and videos, so just do a Google search.
