Do you have to purchase the meal deal ahead of time, or can you purchase it the day you are at the parks?
I want to order park passes through Universal, but I only want to start with one day on the meal plan. My friends want two days, but I'm not sure it will be a good fit, since the last meal will have to be about 4:30. For this reason, I don't want to get both days ahead of time.
If I purchase the meal plan ahead of time, can I add the Citywalk upgrade on the day we are at the park?
We are four adults that love to eat. The last time we vacationed with these buddies, we had the Disney Dining Plan. They now want this meal plan, but I am sure it will fall short of the DDP. Especially since we all tend to eat dinner long after the parks close. I'm thinking that we will be hungry later at night while we drink our cocktails. Eating later would then negate the "savings" of the meal deal.
Any advise would be helpfu.
