Meadow Woods????

Has anyone been/heard anything good or bad about this development? Im looking to book here for Christmas - its on the Osecola Way(sp?) Whats it like to travel along here to Disney/Universal?
The villa owner advertises free golf, does anyone know if there are usually any restrictions and are they usually open over Christmas?

We have stayed in villas quite near to here. Can't telll you about golf, but the drive to WDW was about 30 minutes, but it is a straight road - you don't need to leave the Osceola Parkway at all. Universal being about the same I think. There is a new Wal*Mart supercentre on the Osceola Parkway - very close - much nicer that the one on US 192.

Very handy for both airports too, using the Greeneway toll road - hardly any trtaffic on it!!

We stayed close to there two years ago. Good location, nice area, no problems at all. This link gives you an idea on location. As Cath says it's about 30 mins max from WDW. We found the Central Florida Greenway (417) a better road than Osceola, quieter and faster.

If I remember correctly there are two Meadow Woods golf courses, North and South. You should find plenty of links to them for opening times etc. Hope this helps.

were going to be staying here in 5 weeks time,buena ventura lakes/meadow wood, will let you know how we get on, Ive heard its a pretty staright run to WDW, and looks okay on the map.
