I scanned the treads and could not fine this information. When are you eligible for ME at Fort Wilderness? I assume you are in a cabin, how about if you are tent camping on a site. We are considering speeding the last 2 days of our GG there since the kids are interested in “camping” (with me with them) and the rest would be in the cabin. We would be flying out at the end of the 2 days.

I am assuming you are eligible if you are staying onsite. Campsites are included. You just have to give the front desk a call and they will pick you up in a van and take you up to the front. We did that when we rented a fifth wheel last June.

You are eligible anywhere you stay on Disney property. FW pickup is at the Outpost--usually 2-4 hours ahead of your flight. You have to tell them as part of your reservation that you need to be picked up.

Yep, you are eligible for DME no matter where you are staying on Disney property, including the campsites!! Before I got the camper, I flew in and tent camped a few times and used DME.

However, with the limited checked luggage allowances nowadays it's a lot harder. SW is really the only airline with two free checked bags that it is even feasible. (UNLESS someone is driving with the gear).

I've done that also. Driven down with the camper and had friends join me for part of the stay and fly in. I carried most of their stuff in my truck.

My DD and grandkids will be meeting us at Fort Wilderness and they will be using ME. I think it is great she gets off the plane on to a bus and they collect her bags.
