ME.. wrong date on Yellow Tags

We are arriving on Aug 12th at 9:30am.. and have a room only at the POR
then from the 13th to the 21st we have the package with free dining..
Anyway
I went to AAA yesturday because they called and said all of our confirmations were in.... I was so exicted... :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
but our me tickets have the wrong date on them.. they have the 13th...
AAA said she would call me today... But has anyone ever had a problem like this... I am sure everything will be fine.. I was just wondering if it will be a problem ... Will they reissue me new yellow tags... or do we just use the ones we have .. If they do need to reissue... will they arrive in time ???
 
I wouldn't worry. I'm sure they'll fix it. You have plenty of time. I just added ME to my trip arriving 8/4.
 
I had a somewhat simlar problem (USAirways changed our non-stop flight to a connecting flight through Charlotte instead). I called DVC to make the change, but they said not to worry about it, and they would change our reservation to reflect the new flight information. Indeed, I had no issues when checking in with ME.
 

Technically, you have two separate WDW resort reservations. There should be a separate, one-way Disney's Magical Express reservations associated with each reservation.

To be on the safe side, you can call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951 to make sure that both reservations are correct.

Just like you hae two resort reservations, you also have two DME reservations. Those tags are for your second reservation.

You should recieve a seperate booklet with your inbound transfers.

I would double check with your travel agent to make sure they booked it properly, and to see if your other booklet is in yet. (They may arrive on different dates, due to USPS)
 
So, Tyler, just to clarify....the new tags (that haven't arrived yet) are the ones the OP should use. And the ones she has at the moment, with the 8/13 date on them, are incorrect. I think a lot of people are seeing some of these posts about two sets of reservations, so two sets of DME luggage tags coming, and they think they need the tags for their return to the airport...not the case. You only need the yellow tags for your flight into MCO at the beginning of your trip. You do not put any tags on your luggage when you switch from resort A to resort B.

Thanks everyone for your tips.. I went back to AAA today and she gave me the same package.. she said yep.. indeed they had my magical express booked for the 13th.. but they changed it to the 12th... Even though the yellow tag still has the 13th on it.. She said when they scan the barcode..
it will reflect the 12th in the system. So no worries... I hope...

If I were in your position, I would call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951 to confirm that there are now two one-way DME reservations in the system — an inbound DME reservation associated with the first lodging reservation (the one-night stay at POR), and an an outbound DME reservation associated with your second lodging reservation (the package). I would also ask about the yellow tags.
 
OMG... I am so glad you all gave me the number to call...
Thank you very very much... I called them and she said it was not changed in the system.... It still said we were not arriving until the 13th... and our flight number that had us on didnt even exist..... So she has changed everything and they ARE sending new yellow tags.. she said absolutley throw the old ones out... Now I am worried about my ressies... the little card to give to the por check in desk says 8-13 through 8-21 but the paperwork says we are departing on the 20th... I have no idea how AAA could screw this up so bad.. Now I am on hold with Reservations trying to see if my room is right or wrong... but they wont tell me anything .. because AAA has to call.. My agent has screwed up.. (granted I changed by ressies to add a day)
but that was back in April when the free dining came out... She screwed the dates up then too.. I had to correct her when I went in to pick up those confirmation paper...You would think that after 3 1/2 months they would have it right... I hate to call and bother her.. (I feel like she thinks I am annoying) but I gave them $3600 and want everything to be right... Nothing wrong with that... I do know next time I will book directly through Disney...
Sorry for the rant.. I am just very frustrated...
