ME to WDW, Rental Car & Return Question

bear with me, haven't used ME yet, rental car rates might make it necessary to pick up car in WDW or eliminate it entirely...I've got last minute questions:

1) Arriving on AT (Level A); it's my understanding that we will cross terminal to (Level B), head for bottom level & will find ME bus. Give me a hint as to where the desk/line will be...by the rental car desks/escalators?

2) Do we have to be in the room when our luggage arrives?

3) if we do forego the rental car: we'll be departing for home on SW. Assume we'd need to check our luggage w/bell services, then retrieve it when it's time to go & schlep it to bus. Does the bus only drop off @ (B)...I really don't want to haul my stuff across the terminal to (A)???

1) You arrive on level 3. You'll go to the B side of the terminal instead of heading to the A side. I haven't been to DME since the moved to the other side, there is a diagram in the booklet. Basically DME took over counters that were, or could have been, used by rental car agencies.


2) No, incoming bell services are pre-tipped. Go to the pool, a park, have lunch. Your luggage will appear while you're enjoying your vacation.

3) The bus normally stops at both the A and B side. There are usually skycaps available if you need assistance.

thank you very much...thought it would be odd if the bus only stopped @ one side of terminal.
