Any OKWest-ers use the ME service recently that would have advice on efficiency, time, and order of resort drop-offs to/from MCo would be greatly appreciated. Oh, we're coming in December (early part), so not sure if that makes a difference in suggestions.

Thanks!

It will all depend on what order they visit the resorts.

I know once I was dropped off there first, once third, once fourth. So I can't predict what ME will do on any particular trip.

I don't know if we've been lucky or not but we've been the first drop-off every time that we've used it.

We've used DME to get to POFQ a few times and OKW always has been the first stop the bus made coming from MCO.

There are no pre-set groupings of resorts, and no pre-set order of drop-offs. What happened today at 10 a.m. will be different than what happened today at 2 p.m. and will also be different than what will happen at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

No way to predict. Resorts are grouped and rides are dispatched based on demand (reservations) and efficiency. However they think everyone at a given time can get to their resorts the fastest, that's how they group and order things.

And yet, I would expect that certain combinations and routes are more common based on the resorts' proximity to one another and what makes sense from a routing perspective. OKW, SSR, POFQ and POR are all basically right next to each other, so they likely try to group guests at those resorts whenever possible. Likewise, OKW is the first property of those that you get to coming from the airport, so it is reasonable that they would stop there first. It's more than a coincidence that every trip I've made to POFQ on DME has followed the same route to the same resorts and that others have followed it too.

Yes, I'm sure it's true that there's no guarantee that you'll have any particular grouping or route, but I think it's an overstatement to say that there's no way to predict. There are combinations and routes that are much more likely than others. You'll probably almost never get on a bus and have it go to AKL, then to CR and then to Pop, for example. Any strange combinations and routes probably are more likely to happen during off hours too, when they can't count on a steady flow of guests going to basically all of the resorts.

So, I think we can say that there's no way to be certain how your ride will go, but there's a reasonable chance that an OKW guest will be first off of a bus that goes on to CSR, POFQ and POR.
