Okay, I got my ME tags for my trip this week and they have the wrong flight on them.
About two weeks after I booked my trip I got a letter from Disney saying the airlines changed my flight.
When my ME tags came they had the original flight on them. I called Disney and the CM said she saw where my flight had been changed and that I should get more ME tags in the mail at some point. She said if I had not received by three days before my trip to call back. Three days before my trip :crazy2: Should that make me panic?

While it certainly feels nicer if you have your tags, you have no reason to panic. Take a breath, it'll be just fine. :thumbsup2

Here's what to do. When you arrive at MCO, skip baggage claim and go right to the DME Welcome Center. They'll ask you if you DME-tagged your bags, and you'll say no. NO PROBLEM! They'll ask to see your baggage claim tickets that you got at your home airport when you checked your luggage (they need the numbers from those labels). They'll also show you photo arrays of every piece of luggage known to mankind, and you will identify what each of your bags looks like. They will them dispatch a CM to actually go to baggage claim, snag your bags for you, and then bring them "into the back," tag them, then send them on their way with the rest of the DME luggage bound for the resorts.

We received our tags the day before we left. We departed on 5/8/05, DME's fourth day of operations, when not having tags was pretty common. In preparation for this, my wife went to a fabric store and bought the brightest and ugliest ribbon she could find, orange with purple polka dots. She tied a piece of ribbon to each bag, and we were prepared to bring a swatch of ribbon with us to give to the DME CMs, to further help them identify our bags.

Like I said, having the tags would probably make you feel more at ease, but you AND your bags will be just fine without them. As I explained above, DIsney has a procedure they follow in that exact circumstance.

Thanks for your advice. I feel much better. This is our first time using ME-so I guess I am in panic mode. :teeth:
