ME question

My son is going to meet us in DW. He found out he may be able to get a flight in the same day as us, insetad of the day after.

My question is will ME let him ride if he is a day early? If he already has his ME tags, can they change them or will they honer his ticket date instead of what the ME tags say?

And how much time do I have to have to let them know in advance if he can do it and we need to change?

as far as i know and expect, he'll only be able to use DME within the confines of the reservation dates - what will he do for a day without lodging?

Is he in the same room as you? If he is, you're in luck. Just call Disney (407-W-DISNEY) and update the reservation with his new arrival date, which will now be the same as yours. PRESTO! He's now eligible to use DME on the same day you are.

Next step is to call DME directly (866-599-0951)and ask them your question. DO NOT ASK THE PEOPLE AT 407-W-DISNEY THE DME QUESTION -- they may or may not have the correct info to give you.

My guess is that even if you didn't call them, his luggage (and he) would be just fine because, at least luggage-wise, it goes by reservation number and not by name. But like I said, call DME directly and ask them.
