ME question....

My family and I will be arriving after 11pm and I understand that ME works 24/7 but for those of you that have taken it after 11pm how was the service? Did you wish you didnt use ME and just got to the hotel on your own?

I used it after 10 PM a few weeks ago and loved it.

From stepping off the plane to being dropped off at POFQ took 56 minutes. Unless you have no checked bags, I can't see how a car service or taxi would take much shorter time than that. With DME, you get to skip baggage claim, a big time saver.

When I got to the DME Welcome Center, there was only one party ahead of me, and I was served almost instantly. I was at the desk literally less than one minute. We were directed to our bus queue, which was completely empty, and before we even stopped at the front they opened the ropes and welcomed us and led us to our bus. We sat on the bus for 15 minutes -- there were 12 people already on there, and just a few got on after us, so our bus left filled to much less than half of its capacity.

We had our immediate needs in our carry-ons (PJs, allowable amounts of toiletries, etc.), which I do no matter where I fly, anyway, just in case the AIRLINE delays our luggage.

With 3+ hours delay for our flight we didn't arrive at MCO till well after 12!! When we went to walk to where DME is there were a few CM's with DME signs pointing us in the right direction. We only had carryons and a stroller so when we got to the bus the driver loaded it under for us. The whole check in process was so quick too. The driver did wait about 10 mins to see if anyone else was coming and then headed to our resort. No other stops so that was a plus! Once we got there he unloaded our bags and we checked in in about 10 mins! No line at 1am! I was glad to have my bags with me and will do that again. I felt the service was great because it was like our own private bus!

How long did it take to get you luggage delivered to your resort?

Both times I used it, about 3 hours after landing. Keep in mind that you don't need to wait in your room for it, it will be left inside your room whether you're there or not.
