we are heading to disney in october. we're spending the first few days with a friend who lives nearby and who will be able to get us from the airport. the last 2 nights we are heading to the YC. Will we be able to use ME to get back to the airport? Not sure if this has to be a 2-way deal or a certain amount of nights or something.

Shouldn't be a problem, but you should still call them to book it, so that they can plan accordingly. I used DME one way, back to the airport last Dec and it was fine, but I had booked it both ways, but canceled the arrival part.

DME is just fine one-way, either way. There is no minimum stay requirement, no package requirement, etc. You'll be just fine, just don't forget to make your reservation, as use of DME isn't "automatic."

thanks! I was assuming I could and realized that was a foolish thing to do in case there was some sort of requirement attached. phew.
