ME question please

I changed my flight from Sun to Sat so when I changed my ME they said to just change the date on the tag.

Here's my question..... I arrive at 2:30 and have dinner plans at 6pm. Should I get my own luggage and bring it with me on the bus?

I've never had a problem with ME, but I'm nervous with the time frame and tag change.

Any suggestions?

If you need something from the bag then I would get it yourself and take to the bus otherwise just do as they said. The barcode on the tage is for the hotel you will be staying at even though it is also printed on the tags.

Yes, what he said! It makes perfect sense.

I would NEVER put into a checked suitcase ANYTHING I'd need soon after arrival. What if the AIRLINE delays your luggage???!!! Items in a carry-on are like an insurance policy against delayed luggage. I've traveled this way since I began flying 17 years ago, long before DME.

While it most likely isn't going to be an issue, I would take whatever you need for the dinner with you in a carryon. If you don't...your stuff will be delayed for some reason, and your bus will be one of the longest rides possible. Of course, if you do pack what you need in your carryon....you will be at the resort, checking in 45 minutes after deplaning, and in your room within 15 minutes after that....it's always Murphys Law!!! Better safe than sorry!!
