ME Question for Tyler

Thank you so much for posting information about ME. It's been really helpful. In earlier threads you posted that busses will be dispatched according to "hotel groups." You mentioned, I think, AKL and MK groupings. Were does Port Orleans fall in these? Would we be at the end of an AKL grouping or the beginning of a MK grouping, or a seperate grouping all together?

This is our first trip so we don't quite know the "lay of the land" except for maps.

I'm most certainly Tyler but I'll take a stab at your question. POR is considered a Downtown Disney resort. I think it would be in a group with POFQ, Old Key West and maybe Saratoga Springs.
Then you would find that BC/YC, Swan/Dolphin, and BW would go together. CBR might even go with the Epcot group. The AllStars would be a group and I wonder if maybe AKL would go with them. NOt sure where CSR would fall. ANd the MK resorts would be GF, CR and Polynesian and maybe WL.

But who knows. I'm sure Tyler has a much better grip on this than the 'lay person' and I would look really bad in purple pants.

I have not heard what the exact routes will be yet. However, I have been told that there will be 6 routes... one with 4 stops, and five with 3 stops.

Because of the way WDW property is laid out, most routes will be grouped by proximity, but there might be one or two that is out of the way.

My GUESS is that it will be routed something like this:

1 - All-Star Sports, Music, Movies
2 - Yacht, Beach, Boardwalk
3 - Animal Kingdom Lodge, Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach
4 - Fort Wilderness, French Quarter, Riverside
5 - Pop Century, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs
6 - Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian

Like I said, this is purely a guess... and remember, the bus might not have folks for all the resorts on its route, so stop order might change.

LOL... it's all good. It's not a Purple Panted operation, so my information is of course always subject to change, since I'm not an expert.
