will magical express only pick up/drop off at MCO or do they operate out of the airport in Sanford as well?

may be able to get cheaper flights into sanford, but won't be worth it if i have to hire a shuttle or rent a car to get onto WDW.

Not only is Orlando International the only airport currently served by Disney's Magical Express, but the new contract between Disney and Orlando International (effective 2007-2011) specifically prohibits Disney from expanding the service to any additional airports.

Ditto.

Additional airports within 100 miles of MCO, That would include Sanford, Daytona and Melbourne. Maybe Tampa, but I am not sure of the official mileage between the two airports.

Flights into Sanford run anywhere from $100.00 to $250.00 per person cheaper than landing Orlando. A family of 4 could conceivably save $400.00 to $800.00 in airline fares. A roundtrip car service, to Disney, runs about $200.00. Unless I am off a bit, it looks like you could work a good savings in landing Sanford. The only problem, there are limited flights going into Sanford and usually from small regional airports. Also airline scheduling is not like everyone is used to.

Mapquest says it's 92 miles. I'm sure the 100 miles was picked to exclude Tampa.

The poster can probably rent a car, with a WDW drop off, for around $50 each way. Probably the cheapest way to go.
