all we do to those suitcases after we make sure our own tag is on is attach a yellow strip to each suitcase (adhere end to end) and they MAGICALLY appear in our rooms?
seems too simple a procedure

How is that any more simple than what happens to EVERY bag at your departing airport? You check in (counter or skycap), they affix a sticky white tag with a bar code and a three-letter code, and your bags disappear mixed in with other bags going everywhere from Albuquerue to West Palm Beach. Somehow your luggage MAGICALLY appears hundreds or thousands of miles away on that baggage claim carousel.

Why do you want it to be more complex? Rampers behind the scenes at MCO see the special yellow DME tags and pull the bags from the usual luggage stream, before it goes out onto the baggage claim carousel. Each DME tag has a bar code on it to properly route it. It gets delivered by truck/van to the proper resort. Bell Services at that resort then delivers it to your room.

I was one of the guinea pigs for DME. I arrived at MCO on May 8, the 4th day of operation, and EVERYTHING worked as advertised. Oh, and I enjoyed FREE, that was a nice price.
