ME, It's not just for people

Hi,
We just returned home from our latest WDW trip and I found out something that really helped my departure.
We always rent a car for our trips and haven't used ME yet until this past trip.
As usual, we all overpacked and overshopped so we had tons of stuff to bring to the airport.
I went to confirm my return flight and they told me I could get my tickets and leave my luggage with Disney to take to the airport.
We still had to return the car to the airport but since our flight wasn't until 8:30 pm it gave us more time to spend at the parks without worrying that our luggage would b stolen from the car while we were having fun.
All our luggage was waiting for us when we disembarked the plane. It was so convienient and only cost us the $6 tip to the sky cab at the resort. Peggie

Disney has always said it's OK to use resort checkin, with participating airlines, and finding your own way to the airport. Luggage only isn't permitted on the inbound part of ME. Unless you checkin at the ME desk Disney assumes your luggage made it to MCO but you didn't.

Yes to second what LewisC said, no problems not taking ME to the airport on the return flight. You can't do it when you fly into Orlando.
