Can you use the ME from the Swan/Doplhin?

Thanks for the reponse. My friend at work thinks she can pick up her luggage and use ME.

She seems so sure about this, I had to ask. What about EMH? If Swan/Dolphin are not Disney resorts, She can't participate in that either? That would make sense, but I think that EMH is allowed for Swan/Dolphion guests?

Swan & Dolphin do participate in EMH, share WDW bus system and a few other WDW Resort perks but unfortunatley DME isn't one of them.

In addition you have to make a reservation to use DME even though its free and even when staying at a WDW resort. So if your friend tries to call DME to make her reservation she will be advised that DME dosen't serve the S&D resorts. She can't just show up at the ME desk with her luggage and hop on the bus

Your friend can make a reservation with mears at @ 30.00 pp r/t and will likely end up on a DME bus. She will have to pick up her own luggage and pay for the service however. https://secure.mearstransportation.com/PriceReq.asp

When we stay at the S&D I just use a car service and pay the extra $ for personal service and a grocery stop.

Your friend could book a ride with Mears. She may even end up on a DME bus. When we stayed at BCV a year or so ago, the bus stopped at the S/D first. I couldn't figure it out. I asked the driver who told me that if someone booked through Mears, they paid for the ride and could be put on the DME bus, but that it certainly wasn't a free ride.
I like to have a towncar if I'm staying at the S/D.
As far as EMHs...yes, the S/D both participate in that. I believe you can even have your packages sent back to the resort. But, you can not charge to your room like you can with the Disney owned resorts.
