I suspect the 4 hour pickup might have been during the 2017 holiday season. DME went to a 4 hour pick-up in fall of 2017 when MCO recommended a 3-hour airport arrival time due to anticipated holiday traffic. After the holidays, MCO went back to a recommended 2-hour airport arrival time and DME went back to the more typical 3-hour pick-up schedule.Last few trips I have had 3 hours prior and 4 hours prior. Are they still at 4 or did they go back to 3? Domestic flight if that is relevant.
We were given a 3.5 hour prior pick-up last week.Last few trips I have had 3 hours prior and 4 hours prior. Are they still at 4 or did they go back to 3? Domestic flight if that is relevant.
How is that? DME only gives you the pick-up times the night before.I was just given a 3 hour time for our trip in October.
Actually when I called for mine 3 weeks prior the CM did say well looks like that will be a rather early pick up of 5:05am.How is that? DME only gives you the pick-up times the night before.
Also I didnt get a letter hanging on my door the evening before so I went to concierge to have the letter printed. Not that that had much to do with the timing but I thought I'd toss that in lol.
You didn't receive the notice with your pick up time the night before? Was that just an error on the part of the resort?

You would have wanted RAC to print your boarding pass and luggage tag.My DD18 was starting at the all-stars in August & she didn’t receive the notice. I told her to go to front desk. I stayed at AkL with my younger DD and we received the pick-up notice, but on departure day only received an envelope (boarding pass & luggage tag) for my DD and not me. That one the front desk could do nothing about so we had to take our luggage with us.
I was told by front desks that the delivery of envelopes is third-party & doesn’t involve Disney. I know Magical Express was Mears. I guess I just didn’t expect third party strangers walking through hotels unnoticed.
Anyways, at least dissers know what to expect & can go get the info - I feel bad for those visitors who unknowingly never receive pick-up times.

I’m surprised the front desk didn’t let me know to ask there though.
But then again, maybe not surprised.I was told by front desks that the delivery of envelopes is third-party & doesn’t involve Disney. I know Magical Express was Mears. I guess I just didn’t expect third party strangers walking through hotels unnoticed.
