Does anyone know FOR SURE if the WL and POLY are on the same bus route for ME? If so, is there a seperate LINE at MCO for each resort. Ya know how they have the sign with the resort name in the beginning of the line so you know which one to get on? I'm surprising DFi with staying at the POLY for our honeymoon, he thinks we're staying at WL, and I just want to know when I'm going to have to tell him.

It would be ideal if you get in the same line for both resorts and then I wouldn't have to tell him until we were on the bus. I'm thinking that's probably not going to happen so my question is really just wishful thinking.

i think you are asked in the line - before you get in the bus line to confirm your reservation.

so tell him while you are waiting.

We've stayed at the Poly and GF and when we took ME the route was WL, CR, Poly and GF.

The EPCOT resort route (for anyone who needed to know) was CBR, BWI, BC, YC.

After you check in for ME you will have to go to a different line for each resort, then they will bring you resort by resort onto the bus. So you would need to mention it before the bus line.

if you really want to keep the surprise until you get there, what about hiring a limo service/town car instead of taking me to your resort? you could always take me back to the airport at the end of the trip, but this might make it even more fun.

What is the order for POR? What resort is it lumped in with and in what order do they drop off?

That is actually a great idea! I could just tell him that I surprised him with a town car and little will he know where the car is going!!! I'll have to be sure to tell the driver not to spill the beans!

(This honeymoon is going to cost us thousands anyway, what's another hundred... :headache: :crazy2: )

There is a roped off line for each resort at the airport. After you check in a greater at the beginning of the queue will ask your destination and tell you which line to go into although they are also marked. So to the OP if you don't decide on a towncar the secret would be out as you enter the bus queue. They will route the buses according to need. If there are a lot of people going to Poly or POR they may get a bus of their own. They will generally keep a bus within one area but last time we were staying at POP and the bus stopped first at CBR, then POP and then it was going to AKL. So I guess you find out your route and number of stops when you get there.

I have to clear up a few things here.

There are NOT separate lines for each of the 22 WDW resorts. There are separate lines for each BUS. If a particular bus is going to go to 3 resorts, then all 3 resorts get in one line.

Although there are common groupings of resorts into "routes," these are not absolute definite routes. Routes and groupings are frequently changed up when it makes sense (for efficiency) to do so. They have reservations data, so they know about how many people to expect and where they are going and roughly when ... so they plan accordingly.

So again, I stress that you can't rely on an exact grouping of resorts on a bus.

As far as the ORDER of drop-offs ... with the exception of the Magic Kingdom area resorts, the order of drop-offs is 100% decided by the driver himself/herself. Some orders are pretty obvious, due to geography, but it's still at the whim of the driver.

As to DJ Disney Kid's question, POR will usually be included with the other so-called "Downtown Disney" area resorts, which also include POFQ, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs Resort, and ... believe it or not ... Fort Wilderness Campground. FWC might seem odd in this group, and you might think it a MK area resort, but the driving entrance to FWC is in the Port Orleans neighborhood.

Has this changed recently? It was never like this since we started using ME. Each resort always had a seperate line (I tried to pull the same resort switch with my kids and got busted by going into a different resorts line). But then again, we haven't been to WDW since last April.
