We're going to Disneyworld in February with my parents. My mother is in a wheelchair, but she can transfer (she has MS). Should I have told Magical Express that I have a wheelchair in my party? It didn't even dawn on me that it might be an issue until just now...

Well that depends. Can she walk up about 6 or 7 steep steps and walk down a narrow aslie on the bus? If so then you can just put the chair under the bus. But if she would have trouble with that then call them and let them know and they can have a bus with a lift for her to use.
We just got back and used DME with a lift both ways without any problems. :pug:

If your mom can navigate the stairs on the coach with no problem then no, you don't need to advise DME. Only if a lift bus is required would you need to mention it.
Keep in mind the stairs on the DME buses, IMO, are steep but there is a handrail for her to hold on to. If she feels comfortable with that, you shoudn't have any problems.

After speaking with her tonight, she's not comfortable using the stairs on her own. I'd rather not start off the trip with her falling off the bus, so I guess I'll be calling Member Services again tomorrow. Oh well. If this is the most stressful part of my vacation I'll be a happy camper. :goodvibes
