Oh, I am so frustrated with myself right now!!
I caused a mother to find out her dd was pregnant through a second party instead of from her dd. I cannot believe this happened!
I was at a yard sale two weeks ago and ran into 2 friends of my dd's. One of the young women has just had a baby boy and since the yard sale had mostly boy baby clothes I asked her if she had found anything nice for the baby. She answered "No, we're shopping for H right now" (H is the second friend of dd's). She then says "Did you know H is pregnant?" I didn't know that so I turned to H and said "Congratulations, when are you due?" H gave me a date and we chatted for a moment more and then we all left.
Well, I'm good friends with my neighbor down the street who also has a dd the same age as my dd and is also friends with the two girls I had run into at the yard sale (all four of these girls hung out together in hs). I mentioned to my neighbor about seeing H and finding out she was expecting. My neighbor then runs into H's mom and asks something about H's pregnancy. The mom had no idea. This just kills me. H had a miscarriage a few months ago and her dr. didn't want her to get pregnant again so quickly but I guess H and her dh didn't want to wait. But H knew her mom would be upset because she worries about H's health so H hadn't told her yet.
Why in the world did they tell me then? Or if they wanted to tell why didn't they say something so I wouldn't mention it to anyone? I would never have said a word to anyone if I had known H's mom didn't know. Usually I never get caught up in these kinds of messes. Now I'm trying to decide who all I should apologize to and what I should say. I feel terrible about the whole thing.

, but in no way do I see any of this your fault. Don't sweat it!
OMG, that totally happened to me when I was a kid! My dad used to take me out driving when I was as young as 12 and a neighbor said to my mom, "Wow, they grow up so fast! I didn't know she was old enough to get her license yet." BUSTED!
